# FESTOOL Investigating ETS EC Sanders - US Tool & Fastener Product Blog

Festool is currently investigating a product performance issue resulting from an electronic fault affecting a small number of ETS EC sanders. While this issue does not pose a safety concern, every user must have the same impeccable experience you expect from Festool. Once Festool receives your sander, they will verify whether the issue is related to the known component fault. If it is not, Festool will follow their standard warranty & repair procedures to get your tool working and back to you as soon as possible. Festool will reach out to you to update your sander if it is related to the known fault.
