It’s no secret that this global pandemic has affected supply chains all over the world, as well as here at home in the US. Nearly every major brand has been impacted, and Festool is no exception. Today, July 14th, we learned that the Kapex Set campaign has again been delayed because of the impact of Covid-19 in manufacturing facilities. The Kapex Set is now expected to begin shipping in mid-September to customers. From Festool:
"Due to global supply chain interruptions of internal components, we are now forecasting the Kapex Set Campaign will likely start in mid-September. While we understand that this delay may be frustrating, our commitment to quality products starts with quality components and that is something on which we are not willing to compromise. We thank you for your patience & your business as we work through this delay, and please know that we are doing everything we can to deliver this well-received promotion as soon as possible."
We know many of you have been waiting on this launch since the beginning, and were hoping to use the Kapex on some of your projects. To our customers that have kept your orders open with us since the initial launch of this Kapex promotion, we will continue to keep you at the front of the line so that we can ship immediately once we have inventory. For those of you who have been on the fence about this promo, we strongly encourage you to consider it. This package is a savings of nearly $500 over regular price, and inventory, when it arrives, is going to be very limited for all dealers.
