We wanted to let you know of a change to the www.shopfestool.com website.  On March 1, 2022, visitors to www.shopfestool.com will be redirected to www.ustoolandfastener.comwww.shopfestool.com has always been powered by US Tool & Fastener, however, we want to share the experience of all brands we offer, especially ones that complement the Festool brand.  Nothing will change from the experiences you’ve had in the past; we are simply moving to a one-stop shopping experience at www.ustoolandfastener.com.

So really. Why the Change?

In a nutshell, it is an effort by Festool to reduce confusion as to who’s a dealer and who is actually Festool. Originally, there were only a handful of dealers, like us, that used “Festool” in their website domain and store names. In recent years, the number of dealers doing that has jumped, which has led to customers getting confused as to whether they were talking with a dealer or Festool directly. This initiative is to make it clear that you are working with an authorized dealer. Here’s a note from Festool:

The Festool brand represents the highest standards in the power tool industry. This promise of quality extends to our tools, services, and brand identity. The Festool brand name and logo are important elements of the brand identity, and it is vital that their usage is in line with brand guidelines to create a consistent brand image. The overarching goal of these updated 2022 guidelines is to eliminate the perception that consumers are buying directly from Festool. Dealers must make clear through both explicit language and web page design elements that customers are purchasing through an authorized Festool dealer – not directly from Festool.

 

More importantly, what’s in it for me?

At USToolandFastener.com, we run two programs that weren’t available through ShopFestool.com (or the recently renamed ShopUSTF.com)

What if I have an order open on ShopFestool/ShopUSTF?
